Bobbi Duvet is the Drag persona of London based Costume Designer Rob Coughlan.

Rob set his sights on London, and moved there 11 years ago to study Costume Design at the prestigious Wimbledon College of Art. Costume was always an area of interest for Rob, due to him being brought up around Circus, as this was his Grandad’s line of work.

​

London was a playground which introduced Rob further to the LGBTQ+ community, performance, unique Theatre and confidence in being himself. The city was an abundance of creativity, culture and meeting likeminded individuals.

One of his first experiences in ‘Drag’ was when he played the role of the landlady in a murder mystery. In Rob’s own words, ‘’This is one of my most embarrassing drag moments ever, its literally a cos play wig and my flatmates clothes! What was I thinking?’’. Rob continued to explore drag, because he enjoyed combining his love for Costume as well as creating persona that was a little bit extra, and flirty.

Bobbi Duvet combines her love for Green, Theatre and Fashion, to portray a playful queen, who enjoys being Glam, Fabulous and Creative. Now feeling more established with her brand and who she wants to be. Bobbi Duvet is ready to flourish, tease, enlighten and share with the world who she has become.
